In collaboration with Buro North and Peter Bennetts we’ve visualised an alternative use for Melbourne’s conceptually flawed Southern Star Big Wheel which is now non operational due to heat damage. We imagine a Wind Driven Solar Sail Powered Wheel that will act as the central docking station for a new fleet of Flying Steam Powered Punk Trams, invented to alleviate traffic congestion in a newly greened Melbourne. This project has been published in Monument Magazine, Expose 8 and Architecture Australia.

Jubilant dolphins, statues that come alive, boom box buildings and pulsating cacti - these are all part of our sun drenched new film Vivre Sur La Mer part of an international competition to design a new offshore extension to the coast of Monaco.

Shot on location in Monte Carlo and the Cote d’Azur, the film follows the adventures of a jogger around the city. As she runs, the rhythm of her footsteps spark off a series of magical events and bit by bit the new extension to the city is rolled out onto the sea.

We have made a film as part of the Rebuild the Skylon campaign.
Built for the Festival of Britain in 1951, the Skylon was a 300 foot high metal sculpture that sat in the heart of London on the Southbank. It was demolished in 1952 but people have wanted to rebuild it again on a regular basis. It became an icon for a new era in British history, and is the first example of high-tech architecture in the UK.
