Flooded London

340 years after the Great Fire comes the Great Flood.

A utopia is created as London is taken back by the sea; there is no-one left to mend the windows in St Paul’s Cathedral, but on a summer’s day you can jump from the Whispering Gallery into a cool basilica filled with water. The five images of ‘Flooded London’ are snapshots of London lives after the catastrophe, depicting the inhabitants’ adaptations to a near-deserted city where an office block in Canary Wharf is a place to go fishing and a street in Honor Oak turns into a slipway.

Flooded London has since been requested for use in a number of architectural and academic publications.
