Job summary
This role will involve project managing a broad range of projects from film and animated content to interactive software. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with our clients including major international developers, architects, cultural institutions, visitor attractions and green tech companies. The producer will be responsible for delivering large and small scale projects according to brief, timelines and budget managing both creative and technical teams in house and externally. We’re particularly looking for someone with experience managing CG film work with experience of large scale architectural projects, a big bonus alongside an understanding of the 3DSMax and Realtime pipelines.
Main responsibilities
Production Management
- Establishes strong team and client relations, acts as the central point of contact for designated projects, guiding and influencing delivery strategy and maintaining clear and consistent communication
- Facilitating and leading client meetings, team meetings, and production reviews to guide and manage production progress
- Responsible for project budgets between £20k and £2m+, flagging concerns and pursuing solutions
- Assembles and plans working schedules and resources in line with key dates; actively monitoring productivity and quality of output daily, ensuring production and delivery milestones are met
- Regularly updates and manages projects via Squint Opera’s online production tools including G-docs, F-track and Smartsheets
- Plans studio and location shoots in the UK and internationally including crewing, kit hire, location permissions, talent bookings and scheduling
- Attends meetings, workshops and shoots internationally where required
- Contract and manage contractors and external collaborators based in the UK and overseas
- Creation of quotes and negotiating client contracts for projects where required
- Guardian of project scope, working with clients and project teams to create deliverables in line with the contractual agreement
Leadership and Management
- Inspires a high performance culture on projects and communicates a clear sense of direction and expectations clearly
- Leads a range of complex and fast-paced projects and remains organised and calm and in control under pressure
- Motivates internal and external teams, balancing the needs of creative staff and project requirements
- Flexible, can-do attitude. Adapts quickly and well to changing priorities
- Manages and inputs on decisions which have a substantial impact on the achievement of production objectives. Carefully considers the effect on quality of output
- Sets standards of behaviour and acts as a leader and role model
- Is passionate about film, creative and digital content creation
- Strikes the balance between creative and practical thinking
- Manages client relationships and ensures expectations are managed and met

Experience
Required
- Demonstrable experience (3-5 years) within a relevant agency/production environment particularly with CG production
- Experience managing complex and high profile projects
- Experience managing diverse and creative artist teams
- Experience managing large project budgets
- Experience with project management tools / software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organised and efficient
- Experience with Google docs
- Advanced Microsoft Office suite
- Degree qualified in a relevant field
Desirable
- Experience managing digital teams and an understanding of software development
- Experience organising large scale shoots in the UK and internationally
- Understanding of the architecture and developer market
- Familiarity with F-Track
- Familiarity with Smartsheets
- Indesign and Photoshop skills

09.30 - 18.00 Mon - Friday
Salary
£35,000 - £45,000
