About

Katya is a Senior Project Manager at Squint/Opera, a Journey studio. With a background as an architect and urban designer, she brings over a decade of experience in the built environment, specialising in participatory approaches to urban design and cultural projects.

Her career spans international roles, from curating public programmes at the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design to managing large-scale heritage and cultural initiatives at Barker Langham. Katya holds a Master’s in History and Critical Thinking in Architecture from the Architectural Association and a Specialist degree in Architecture from the Moscow Architectural Institute. At Squint/Opera, she leads complex, multidisciplinary projects from concept to delivery, ensuring collaboration and creativity are at the heart of every story.
