Being the link between artists and developers, with a background in both disciplines, the Technical Artist ensures integration between the artistic vision of a project and the technical development making it a reality


  • Working closely with CG Supervisor and Digital Supervisor to successfully integrate design and programming aspects of projects in real time environments
  • Advising on the possibilities and setting up systems and processes for creating and developing interactive real time environments
  • Supporting the Producer, advising on technical issues regarding visual design and contributing creative ideas

  • Identifying bottlenecks and limitations in the pipeline

  • Helping the studio workflow to move towards real-time production

  • Researching and developing new techniques, implementing the best ones and training others on these

  • Identifying where custom tools could be used to improve processes



  • Proficient in Unreal (Blueprints, Datasmith, transfer of assets from multiple softwares)

  • Basic working knowledge of Unity an advantage

  • At least 3 years relevant experience with real-time 3D environments

  • Experience in building for VR an advantage

  • Architectural Visualisation experience required

  • Thorough understanding of developing pipelines and processes

  • Strong creative background

We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Technical Director

  • Provide technical advice and support for artists
  • Collaborate with production and CG supervisors to design, implement new tools and workflows and improve current pipeline
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the current pipeline
  • Manage installed software and git source code repositories
  • Provide updates on pipeline development status and notifies of any upcoming production risks
  • Conduct research and recommend workflows that will improve efficiency

  • Previous experience of pipeline programming in ArcViz, VFX or game industry
  • Strong programming experience in Python
  • Experience using FTrack or Shotgun API
  • Skilled GUI development with the Qt application framework

  • Organising product photographs according to consistent style guidelines. Using a lightbox and working with photographers to organise product photoshoots.

  • Some basic html and css skills would be beneficial for developing email templates and bespoke landing pages.


  • Supporting the head of marketing in developing strategy, particularly in terms of content and social media strategy.

  • At least two years experience working in a marketing related role.
  • Be happy working in a metrics focused working environment.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • An excellent copywriter and editor
  • Competent graphic design and video editing skills preferable.
  • Knowledge of web technologies would also be beneficial.
  • Able to adapt tone of voice and write for different brands.
  • Competent working in Adobe Suite software. Able to edit imagery and create graphics from template files and brand guidelines.
