REAL TIME TECHNICAL ARTIST

 

Being the link between artists and developers, with a background in both disciplines, the Technical Artist ensures integration between the artistic vision of a project and the technical development making it a reality

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working closely with CG Supervisor and Digital Supervisor to successfully integrate design and programming aspects of projects in real time environments
  • Advising on the possibilities and setting up systems and processes for creating and developing interactive real time environments
  • Supporting the Producer, advising on technical issues regarding visual design and contributing creative ideas

  • Identifying bottlenecks and limitations in the pipeline

  • Helping the studio workflow to move towards real-time production

  • Researching and developing new techniques, implementing the best ones and training others on these

  • Identifying where custom tools could be used to improve processes

 

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in Unreal (Blueprints, Datasmith, transfer of assets from multiple softwares)

  • Basic working knowledge of Unity an advantage

  • At least 3 years relevant experience with real-time 3D environments

  • Experience in building for VR an advantage

  • Architectural Visualisation experience required

  • Thorough understanding of developing pipelines and processes

  • Strong creative background

PERSON  SPECIFICATION

  • Strong communication skills, keeping in touch with colleagues across multiple sites

  • Able to confidently communicate creative needs to technical personnel and vice versa

PIPELINE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

 

We are looking for an experienced Pipeline Technical Director
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical advice and support for artists
  • Collaborate with production and CG supervisors to design, implement new tools and workflows and improve current pipeline
  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the current pipeline
  • Manage installed software and git source code repositories
  • Provide updates on pipeline development status and notifies of any upcoming production risks
  • Conduct research and recommend workflows that will improve efficiency
  • Maintaining documentation workflow

 

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience of pipeline programming in ArcViz, VFX or game industry
  • Strong programming experience in Python
  • Experience using FTrack or Shotgun API
  • Skilled GUI development with the Qt application framework
  • Experience of using REZ as a package manager
  • A working knowledge of Git or SVN
  • Clear working knowledge of VFX software API’s and data-formats (Max, Maya, Nuke, Arnold, Alembic, etc.)
  • Ability to work to prioritise production tasks in a frequently changing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics or other related fields

PRODUCER

 

We are searching for an inspiring individual to join our team as a hands-on Producer. Working within the Architecture division, across projects that bridge a wide range of
multimedia projects, techniques and styles.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creation of quotes and allocation of resources for new business.
  • Communicates a clear sense of direction and purpose
  • Inspires a high performance culture and communicates purpose and expectations
    clearly.

  • Establish strong client relations and act as the central point of contact for designated
    projects

  • Attend client meetings with relevant director/team member as required.

CREATIVE DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

 

We are looking for a digital creative to join a small and friendly team at the start of an exciting new venture working exclusively with a range of exciting children’s brands.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Campaign Ideation and Management
  • Working alongside the Head of Digital Marketing and wider team to produce
  • ideas and strategies for innovative multi-channel communication campaigns in accordance with the marketing strategy. Working with the Head of Digital Marketing to devise and implement a schedule of communications across all channels.
  • Bring campaign ideas to life through storytelling across a range of media.
  • Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all campaigns.

Email Marketing

  • Creating copy and imagery and customising templates for email communications.
  • Working alongside the Head of Customer Data to develop messaging for automated communications.
  • Working with the Marketing Analyst to understand the impact of campaigns and test and optimise ideas.

Social Media

  • Helping develop ideas for social media campaigns such as competitions, product promotions, memes, behind-the-scenes stories, activities and games.
  • Working with the team to keep the social media calendar updated.
  • Post, schedule and moderate content across social media.
  • Engaging with brand audiences on a day-to-day basis.

CMS Management

  • Overseeing quality and SEO optimisation across website pages. This involves creating and editing graphics for product pages within templates and keeping copy up to date according to brand guidelines.
  • Organising product photographs according to consistent style guidelines. Using a lightbox and working with photographers to organise product photoshoots.
  • Organising short video clips of children using products for use in advertising and on product pages.
  • Some basic html and css skills would be beneficial for developing email templates and bespoke landing pages.

Strategy

  • Supporting the head of marketing in developing strategy, particularly in terms of content and social media strategy.
  • Helping to develop messaging and online value propositions together with the Head of Marketing and Head of Customer Data.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

  • At least two years experience working in a marketing related role.
  • Be happy working in a metrics focused working environment.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • An excellent copywriter and editor
  • Competent graphic design and video editing skills preferable.
  • Knowledge of web technologies would also be beneficial.
  • Able to adapt tone of voice and write for different brands.
  • Competent working in Adobe Suite software. Able to edit imagery and create graphics from template files and brand guidelines.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • An experienced social media manager, able to manage accounts across several channels.
  • A basic understanding of html, css and javascript would be beneficial but not required.
